Magical Maths Hertfordshire is run by Katherine Wheway...



"I have always lived and worked in Hertfordshire and love the county. I was born in Watford hospital, went to primary school in Boxmoor, then Cavendish in Hemel Hempstead before finally taking a diploma in hotel and catering management at Cassio College in Watford.



I have run several Bars and Restaurants in the area over the years with my husband but decided with our children reaching the age of 9 and 10 that it was time for a career change. I have always loved being with children and seeing them develop and after my experience teaching special needs children many years ago, education has always been something that I felt I would love to get into in some form. The Magical Maths concept is so exciting, a really fun way to break down the barriers that so many younger students have with the subject.



I have surrounded myself with a team of hugely bright and enthusiastic people who share the same passion for the project as I do and can't wait to bring Magical Maths to the primary schools in Hertfordshire.
